"Please remember that patience is in and itself a great challenge, and that it often holds
the key to breaking through a seeming impasse."

Hello Every one,
I hope the day went well for you on this Election Day. My ideal leader is one who can organize and inspire the hearts of people to create positive changes. A leader who give us fresh energy and enthusiasm. Most important a leader who gives us hope to forge ahead. At times, I feel like we are on our own.
Today's theme - PATIENCE - The quote above gives me encouragement when I am reluctantly to say the word. I always associate the word with tolerating a delay or provocation or annoyance without complaints or anger.
This morning I looked into my sprouting bowl only to find my lentils premature in their

2 1/2 cups of Almond milk
2 cups of peas (when I can't get fresh, I use the organic frozen ones. Room temperature)
1 small avocado
sea salt to taste ( I'll add a 1/8 of fresh garlic or onion for more flavor)
blend in blender or vita mix
Told you it was easy. Enjoy!
NOTE: Patience and Responsibility is a lesson to learn for us Raw Fooders. When I am preparing for people, I take my time to hand chop the vegetables.

More of today's theme ......... waiting for the Persimmons to get ripe. Are there any recipes for this fruit ? All I know about this fruit is that it either started in Japan or China. We do have native persimmons that grow wild in the
East from Connecticut to Florida. They are much smaller than the Orient. Ours has a richer flesh. No matter where they are from , they all got that "pucker" when you eat them too early. The good benefit about this fruit -it is full of potassium, magnesium and phosphorus.
Patience has been a virtue when it comes to fashion. A limited budget will cause you to wait for a sale or hold out until you get that style or creation you always wanted. I went vintage shopping today and found that deep chocolate suede skirt. A true 70's Beauty cut in the classic A-Line shape that flatters the hips. It also has a yoke design in the back, the sexy snap front closer and the front slant pockets that have pin tuck details. The color will go with every top in my closet. Yipppee! I had faith I would find a skirt like this.

Thank you for reading
peace and light to you.
