In Search for true Madras

Hello every one,
I'm in search for true Madras material. The sales clerk in the Fabric store told me this role of Madras fabric was the true deal . But I know better!! This imitation polyester and cotton blend Madras type fabric is manufactured here in the USA . Of Course we argued about the authenticity of this Material. I purchased this imitation cotton and spandex for $2 bucks a yard.
As you can see it does have an interesting color mix of turquoise , yellows and red which I love.

True Madras is a handwoven Indian cotton with plaids, checks and stripes all colorfully intermingled. Because the yarn is dyed with natural vegetable dyes, color runs together producing the well known muted effect. I find it very lovely. I made a simple sundress to keep me cool for the rest of the summer.

SHOES FOR THE SUMMER
This is the First time I purchased shoes from BORN company . These shoes are very comfortable to stand and walk in. First time I had My favorite color Turquoise in a cute sandal . It took me two years to buy Gold sandals because I never follow the fashion trends. I thought gold was only for dressy occasions . I do enjoying putting them on .
