Putting the brakes on weight gain

Hello Everybody

Yes, I'm a happy size 12. I've been maintaining this size for a while. June 1st was the kick- off with the Fruits soups , salads and the recipes made with nuts. I also started to eat less greens . After one month , My body started to feel sluggish. Last week , I thought that doing the one meal a day and green juice twice a day would fix that . It did not . I'm am still feeling the heaviness in the bottom of my stomach. My body is getting heavy as well. This afternoon I decided It is time for me to look at my eating habits and do some nutritional research on- line . Looking back on June ........I confess it was the Watermelon Soup . I've been making this soup three times a week. The combination of the Mint , ginger, Raw honey and lime was soooooooooo good . I got greedy . The second pleasure for me was making the Raw Blueberry Cheese cake.
This afternoon I took an hour looking up the amount of greens a Raw foodist needs to consume daily to maintain a balance. I am going to increase my green intake to 45% percent . That's the leafy dark greens. (Kale , Spinach , Collards) . This information about the non-sweet fruits was a shocker.......... I knew that tomatoes were a non-sweet fruit but cucumbers, zucchini and bell peppers !!. What !! I eat large amounts of these. Plus reading the intake of these root vegetables ; carrots and beets when I'm juicing. I'm thinking I'm full and satisfied with my eating but in reality, I am missing the daily consumption of greens. I am consuming large amounts of fruit, nuts and seeds to get my carbohydrates. Don't forget the the consumption of oils and Avocados. Let's face it it is hard to eat a salad without the salad dressing.
A fellow Raw foodist told me about the importance of eating greens. DID I LISTEN CAREFULLY - NO . I was too busy eating what I like. I am continuing my study as you are reading this.

Today I made Eggplant pizza . The nut base taste like cheese I had to disciple myself and eat less of this so that I can increase my leafy-green intake.
