Love Eating and Juicing My Greens

Hello Every one,

The Fall is coming . Are you ready ? I did some light fall shopping today. Picked up a new linen skirt and two new turtlenecks from Goodwills.

During the change of the season, I do four days of a mini cleansing routine which consist of a large green smoothie for breakfast, a Raw Food Meal for lunch and a glass of green juice in the evening each day. Monday the 16th to Thursday the 19th is my cleansing time.

Believe me I did not start off loving the green juice. A while back, I had a friend whom I considered a "healthy nut freak" I would tease her by saying "you will die healthy and be a beautiful corpse " . I would make a face every time she would offer a green juice drink to me . She would say " you don't know what you are missing " I would answer back "Yes I do, it looks like pond scum ". Then I would wave a cheese burger in-front of her and lavishly eat it. Now, I have appreciation for her consistency and never giving up on me to change the way I ate.

CHLOROPHYLL POWER I Eat the Green-leafy vegetables daily for the calcium and heavy minerals to keep building up strong teeth and bones. The green leaves alkalize the blood and calms the body. Now you understand why Raw Food Eaters are so peaceful. When I began doing this lifestyle the first thing I notice was the wrinkle on my forehead went away and I began to hear compliments on how great my skin looked. I had this healthy glow that didn't go away. Other benefits; My nails became stronger , My vision sharpen , my hair became softer from the protein and that yucky morning taste in the mouth disappeared. I remember how I would crave unhealthy foods when I got tired. Now I can't go a day without my greens.

The question you may ask is - why or How or what the heck is Raw Foods ? The easiest answer I can give from my own experience is , Our Human cells are living and it makes sense that our nourishment consist of living plant cells. Foods that consist of living cells have all the qualities necessary to satisfy the demands of the human body.

Important note to you: I am not doing this all alone. I had to find a medical Doctor who told me what nutrients I needed to take daily. If you are considering Raw Foods - Do your research and understand what your body needs.

I will post my meals from the 16th to the 19th to show you I am eating well.

Monday
Breakfast - Green smoothie - Spinach , kale , collard with blueberries , strawberries and honey.
Lunch - Marinated greens, Zucchini Pasta with Marinara sauce and nut meat balls.
For a snack - Raw Potato Chips. For dessert- Raw Cherry Ice Cream on top of two bananas .
Dinner - Green Juice
I prepare this all myself.

I was in the Green with an African print dress I made . The Parakeet print inspired me to make a fun dress for the summer. Also Wearing John Fluevog sandals . Thank you for reading.
